Look who came to volunteer with us! Ms. Lily! She has finished her program at Disney in Orlando and is back in St. Augustine. We are so excited to have her join us from time to time. We love it when our former teachers and interns pay us a visit.
This week in science and art STEAM our kiddos read the book Frederick by Leo Lionni. They built their own wall like the one in the book to get ready for the long, cold, gray winter. While everyone was working hard, Frederick was busy gathering the sun rays and remembering the colors of the flowers to remind all the mice of the wonderful things that happen after hibernation. Frederick is a sweet narrative about the importance of creativity and imagination.
